Club rules
LASAS exists to promote the appreciation of alpine sporting pursuits, mountain safety, and the enjoyment of a hard-earned Wienerschnitzel in the world's finest establishments. Members must meet the application prerequisites and abide by the following code of conduct.
- 01
Earn the table
Membership requires at least 2,000 vertical meters of human-powered climbing and two Wienerschnitzels consumed within one 48-hour period. Climbs and meals may be split or done in one go.
- 02
Stay alive
Respect the mountain. Pay attention to conditions, your gear and your touring partners. Don't put yourself or others at risk.
- 03
Leave a clean line
Nature is more than just the backdrop to our adventure, it is its genesis; respect it as such. There is no Planet B.
- 04
Seek good Wienerschnitzel
Consume only correct veal Wienerschnitzel. Generous amounts of Preiselbeermarmelade may be added.
- 05
Approved establishments
Members are encouraged to submit approved Wienerschnitzel establishments to the Committee, along with a short review. The Committee also maintains a shit list for the safety of its members and the general public.
